Connecting with the Community!

Volunteering Gold Coast plays an active role in events across the Gold Coast. We participate in environmental clean ups, surfing festivals, to workshop, training and support networks. We make sure everyone gets involved and supports local organisations, corporate groups and individuals!
 

To celebrate National Volunteer Week Volunteering Gold Coast does something a little different each year. Last year we held a sausage sizzle and launched the "Volunteer Video" to say Thank You.

Volunteering Gold Coast staff headed to the dunes to volunteer with Griffith Centre for Coastal Management. The afternoon was spent pulling Siratro tap roots and cleaning up the rubbish. It is always important to practice what you preach!

The Voices in Harmony Choir is organised by Jeanetter Koorey & Rhonda Illife, on behalf of Volunteering Gold Coast. Once a week music-loving Gold Coast residents meet together to rehearse songs for upcoming community events.

Volunteering Gold Coast attends numerous meetings and events with all levels of Government supporting community initiative and action.

Volunteering Gold Coasts holds their annual Golden Idol Talent Search for the over 55's around seniors week every year. It is a great opportunity for the locals to showcase their talent and there are always fantastic prizes to be won.
