Golden Idol

Volunteering Gold Coast is holding their annual Golden Idol talent search who’s Grand Final will be the Gold Coast’s official launch for Seniors Week. Golden Idol is an opportunity for those Gold Coast residents who are 55 years and over to showcase their talents to the Gold Coast community and be in the running to win a big prize. The Grand Final usually coincides with the launch of Seniors Week.

Entry forms can be picked up at all major Gold Coast City Council Libraries, selected Gold Coast RSL and Senior Citizen Clubs, or Volunteering Gold Coast Head Office.

Heat 1: 10:30am - 1:30pm, Sunday 18 July

Hear 2: 10:30am - 1:30pm, Sunday 25 July

Heat 3: 10:30am - 1:30pm, Sunday 1 August

Grand Final: 10:30am - 2pm, Sunday 15 August

The heats and Grand Final will be held at the Surfers Paradise RSL, 9 Beach Road, Surfers Paradise. Visitors can park in the Bruce Bishop Car Park (please note there is a parking fee). See the map below.
